Condense-O-Mizer Condensing Boiler Economizers
Boilerroom Equipment Inc. is pleased to announce it's line of condensing boiler economizers. The Condense-O-Mizer can either be installed in a stack in a conventional installation when low temperature operation short of full condensing willl occur. For true condensing applications a remote economizer with an ID fan and draft controls actually induces the flue gas from the stack into the unit. Bruce can assist with the rating of a condensing application and after a little more "training" he will be able to provide a custom-engineered proposal for a complete system including the economizer, fan, and controls. Soon Bruce will even be able to automatically integrate the entire system into a single priced proposal.

All Heatsponge rectangular economizers provide for easy ongoing maintenance featuring removable tubes the connect to our headers with a compression fitting. Repairs are fast, easy, and require no welding. We stock tube elements allowing for rapid dispatch to minimize downtime. Since every tube makes its own circuit you can even operate your unit with one tube out of service to maintain your energy savings while waiting for a convenient time to shut down to perform the repair. Cleaning the tube bundle is fast and easy. When the boiler is offline simply unbolt the rear access door and use a water spray to hose out the bundle. Water catch pans in the bottom of the unit will collect and drain the water from the unit and prevent it from entering the boiler.

Heatsponge.com features Bruce, an on-line sales engineer that will help you select an economizer on-line. Bruce you can select a unit for your boiler and even create a proposal. Heatsponge offers three rectangular unit configurations. The standard is the BOSS model for standard recovery at a lowest capital. The SUPER Recovery option that provides more surface area and a higher heat recovery ability. For very large boilers such as industrial watertube boilers Bruce may select a TITAN configuration. Bruce's brains are based on the industry-standard Escoa approach to heat transfer. An industry standard, this proven and publicly available series of heat transfer equations can be relied on for providing accurate and consistent heat transfer ratings. All units that are awarded are further reviewed on a third-party software to insure accuracy with the preliminary online performance.

For smaller commercial boiler applications HeatSponge is pleased to offer their economy coiled economizer. This unit, nicknamed SHORTY, features stainless steel construction including tubes, fins, and inner casing for a long life. This unit is designed for typical boiler applications in the 300 HP and smaller range. These smaller boiler systems typically cannot realize enough savings to justify a full size HeatSponge. Our development of this new unit allows for a cost-effective solution to heat recovery on smaller boilers.
